EDUCATION: Mercy Offers DM Specialty
Know someone who aspires to a DM career? If so, show them this: Mercy College, Dobbs Ferry, NY, is offering a direct marketing specialty, culminating in 18 college credits. It’s a hands-on program in which students will develop a DM campaign while taking courses.
New students can start in September. To be eligible, a person must have completed two years of college.
The program includes three-credit courses on creative basics; strategic media planning; direct marketing measurement; testing and analysis; database development and marketing; and fulfillment and customer service. There is also an introductory course.
Classes will meet two evenings a week for eight weeks. The program can be completed in two semesters.
