Draft FCB has won Wal-Mart Stores Inc.’s $580 million advertising account, according to wire service reports.
Other agencies competing for the business included Ogilvy & Mather, GSD&M and the Martin Agency. The account had been previously handled by GSD&M and Bernstein-Rein, a Kansas City, MO., ad firm that was cut from the review earlier. The retailer spent $578.6 million on U.S. ads last year, according to TNS Media Intelligence.
