B&G Foods, Inc. has acquired the Ortega brand from Nestlé Prepared Foods Co., part of Nestlé USA.
The popular Mexican food brand includes a full line of taco shells, sauces, seasoning, chiles, salsa and refried beans.
Terms of the deal, expected to close within 60 days, were not disclosed.
