The retailer is offering one free movie ticket to AMC Theatres to the first 1 million customers who try on a pair of the brand’s jeans at select American Eagle Outfitters’ stores.

The two-week promotion, which kicked off yesterday, is designed to create awareness around AE’s new line of back-to-school jeans. The movie tickets are valid at more than 300 AMC theatres nationwide.

“We are so proud of this season’s new denim assortment that we’ve teamed with AMC Theatres to thank our customers with a free movie ticket just for trying on a pair of our new AE jeans,” said Susan McGalla, president and CMO for the AE brand, in a statement.

The new denim line includes more than six cuts, including Skinny 77, Straight 77, Boyfriend, AE artists and Hipster for women, as well as bootcut, low-rise boot loose and low-rise straight for men.
