Sony Sponsors PlayStation 2 Road to Voodoo Tour

Sony Computer Entertainment will be the title sponsor of the PlayStation2 Road to Voodoo tour kicking off this month on the West Coast.

The coast-to-coast tour, presented by Best Buy and produced by House of Blues, begins Sept. 23. The schedule includes stops in Texas, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona, Colorado and California.

It ends with a New Orleans bash during the 2003 Voodoo Music Experience, which Sony Computer Entertainment is sponsoring for the fourth year in a row. The event runs from Oct. 31 through Nov. 2.

The Voodoo Music Experience features top musical acts including 50 Cent, Godsmack, Queens of the Stone Age, Staind, Paul Oakenfold and Marilyn Manson.

Concert-goers can stop by the PlayStation 2 DJ Tent to experience soon-to-be-released software titles for Playstation 2, including SOCOM II: Navy SEALS and others.
