Limited Brands Lays Off 400 Amid Slump

Cataloger and retailer Limited Brands is laying off 400 workers, including 230 from its Columbus, OH headquarters.

This comes as the cataloger and retailer posted net income of $218.9 million for the fourth quarter, a decrease from $331.7 million in the prior year.

According to news reports, officials said distribution, store and sales staffing levels will not be affected.
