Former Victoria’s Secret Exec Joins Petco as CMO

Elisabeth Charles, the former executive vice president of marketing for Victoria’s Secret, has joined Petco as senior vice president and chief marketing officer, a new position.

In the role, Charles leads marketing, advertising and e-commerce activities for the pet specialty retailer. She reports to Dave Bolen, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, and is based out of the company’s National Support Center in San Diego, CA.

Prior to joining Petco, Charles oversaw marketing at Victoria’s Secret stores. Before that, she was senior vice president of global corporate marketing for Herbalife International. She also held top marketing roles at Ideaforest.com, Yum Brands and PepsiCo.

Petco operates more than 950 stores nationwide.
