CitiFinancial Revs Up Mustang for Sweeps Prize
CitiFinancial, Inc. is driving its NASCAR Bush Series sponsorship of the No. 90 Citifinancial Ford with a sweeps that will give one consumer the keys to a 2006 Ford Mustang.
Consumers can enter the Win a Mustang Sweepstakes by visiting Citifinancialracing.com. The promotion ends June 10.
“For NASCAR we wanted to get our name out there and build brand awareness to draw the attention of the masses,” said Michael Jones, VP-marketing at CitiFinancial. “Once we have their attention, we can explain who we are as a company.”
In addition to the grand prize, consumers are eligible to win one of 50 first-prize limited edition No. 90 CitiFinancial die-cast collectibles.
The Baltimore, MD-based company is the primary sponsor of the No. 90 CitiFinancial Ford in collaboration with Robert Yates Racing.
CitiFinancial first appeared on the NASCAR Busch scene in 2005, running a limited schedule with NASCAR veterans Elliott Sadler and Dale Jarrett.
In addition to becoming a full-time sponsor on the No. 90 CitiFinancial Ford Fusion, the company will continue its sponsorship for Elliot Sadler’s No. 38 M&M’s Ford in the 2006 Nextel Cup events, beginning with the Daytona 500.
CitiFinancial’s primary sponsorship with Robert Yates Racing will consist of several marketing efforts that include on-line consumer promotions and sweepstakes. NASCAR is the only sporting event with which the company has an affiliation.
