Tribune Creates Hispanic Marketing Group

Tribune Co. has created Tribune Hispanic, a cross-platform national media solutions group.

The Chicago based company currently reaches 1.7 Hispanic consumers each week through four Spanish-language newspapers: Hoy Chicago, Hoy Los Angeles, El Sentinel Orlando and el Sentinel South Florida.

As part of the initiative, the newspapers will rebrand their entertainment sections “ViveloHoy.”

Special sections also will be created in conjunction with events such as the 2010 World Cup and the bicentennial anniversary of Mexico’s independence.
