PRIMEDIA Business Magazines & Media has launched Chief Marketer, a weekly e-newsletter for senior-level corporate management and marketing executives.
The first edition, transmitted Tuesday, reached thousands of C-level and marketing executives at Fortune 500 companies, agencies, retailers and other companies.
The newsletter features marketing news, economic developments, consumer demographics, trends, insights and other content from PRIMEDIA properties including PROMO, American Demographics, Cable World, CATALOG AGE, DIRECT and MeetingsNet.com. Additionally, Chief Marketer provides news and analysis on specific marketing disciplines like CRM, direct mail, advertising and event marketing, as well as high-level business challenges including measuring ROI and improving customer service.
A recent joint research effort between PROMO magazine and the Promotion Marketing Association, found that 65% of C-level titles are involved in marketing decision-making.
Sherry Chiger, the editorial director of CATALOG AGE Magazine, has been named editor of Chief Marketer.
