Tractor Supply Co., Nashville, TN, claims it has become the first national farm supply retailer to jump into the electronic commerce arena with the debut of a virtual mall on the World Wide Web.
The mall (http://www.tractorsupplyco.com) will expand over the next several months to include as many as a dozen vendors. “We expect to be able to offer our customers more than 500,000 unique items,” said marketing and advertising vice president Blake A. Fohl, in a statement.
