The National Football League has approved Daniel Snyder’s bid of $800 million to buy the Washington Redskins. The bid is the highest in NFL history and includes a $300 million down payment in cash.
The 34-year-old Snyder is the founder of Snyder Communications, among whose holdings is Arnold Communications, a Boston-based direct response agency.
Snyder’s partners in the Redskins are Fred Drasner and Mort Zuckerman, co-owners of the Daily News in New York.
