Volkswagen Goes on Tour with Youth Soccer

Volkswagen of America has begun a 19 city mobile tour to showcase its fleet of cars to families attending youth soccer tournaments across the country.

The tour, called Klubhaus, will make stops at 46 tournaments through November before ending at a grand finale event at the MLS Cup championship in Seattle. Volkswagen is the official automotive partner of Major League Soccer.

Thirteen of the markets are part of the largest Hispanic Soccer Tournament, titled Futbolito, a four-on-four traveling tournament for amateur players.

At each venue there will be games and activities for the families such as soccer-tennis, autograph sessions with MLS players and the chance to receive a $25 gift card incentive for test driving a VW at their local dealership. Kids can get their shoes and shoelaces repaired in between soccer matches, courtesy of Volkswagen.

Attendees can participate in ride and drives and Volkswagen dealers will be on hand to answer questions and show off the cars, including Routans, Jetta Sportwagens, Tiguans and Passat Wagons.
