UberMedia’s Appvertise Helps Developers Launch Mobile Ads From Their Smartphones

Posted on

UberMedia logoUberMedia, the company behind third-party Twitter applications like UberSocial, Echofon and Plume, has launched Appvertise, an iOS app that enables developers to create and run rich-media mobile banner ads within the app. Users of the app can pay for those ads with their iTunes accounts.

“By building a dynamic ad unit using the existing contents of an App Store page, UberMedia’s proprietary technology gives developers the freedom to build engaging mobile ad campaigns with literally just a few taps,” the press release says.

Developers who want to create an ad with Appvertise just need to search for their app, edit the pre-populated suggested text and launch the ad, which will appear across UberMedia’s iOS apps within 72 hours.

The ads will have a low CPC, according to UberMedia. Users can set up a budget, and there are no contracts or hidden fees.
