Blogging from the Cannes Advertising Festival, as the first-ever international judging of promotion entries moves ahead, Greg Sullentrup of Momentum Worldwide writes:
“Today we went through roughly a third of all the entries. On the walk back from the Palais, several of us judges were discussing some of the great work in our own markets and wondering where it is. Maybe we just haven’t seen it yet. The point is, we need to make sure, as a community, that our very best work is entered at Cannes. This is a benchmark. This is our moment to shine. It’s time to celebrate the great work we all wish we’d have been a part of.
“Tomorrow we head back for another full day in the Palais. I’m looking forward to another inspiring day….”
