Bender/Helper Opens Entertainment Marketing Company

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

Public relations firm Bender/Helper Impact has opened an entertainment marketing services company, Entertainment Impact.

Steve Honig was named general manager and will oversee day-to-day operations to develop projects, programs and campaigns for clients and coordinate the execution of those projects either in-house or with partners.

Entertainment Impact offers a variety of services including product placement, promotions, celebrity outreach, sponsorships, special events, radio promotions, contests and sweepstakes, urban marketing, online marketing and promotions, video production, advertising, marketing research and Web design.

Some in-house services will be developed as the business grows.

“We are going to build certain in-house capabilities, but for a lot of the core elements we want to work with partners who have been doing this for 20-25 years because this provides a better level of service for the clients,” Honig said.

The new entity will be staffed with a combination of in-house employees and new hires and will operate from Bender/Helper offices in both Los Angeles and New York. Bender/Helper is an independently owned, mid-sized public relations firm with about 55 employees.
