Facebook’s EdgeRank Algorithm Is Dead: What This Means for Marketers and Brands

Facebook’s News Feed algorithm, EdgeRank, used to be about three factors: affinity, weight and decay. Today the social network says it uses as many as 100,000 factors to power News Feed. Marketers and brands that embrace this new reality will have a leg up on those that don’t, though the company says Page owners should simply continue to publish engaging content.
