Marketing Services Group, Inc., New York, has named Ed Mullen as president, effective May 15. Mullen’s responsibilities will include mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, the consolidated MSGI Internet Group, as well as participation in overall corporate strategy and development. Mullen currently serves as president and CEO of CMG Direct Corp., which is in the process of being acquired by MSGI.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol Association, Cheyenne, WY, says it will use direct mail, rather than telephone solicitations to raise money for its programs this year, according to wire service reports. The association will mail out 100,000 packages to state residents by mid-May. WHPA President Rick Dye issued a caution to Wyoming residents, saying that anyone calling and claiming to represent the association in an effort to raise money would be doing so fraudulently, the reports continue.
