BANK OF AMERICA: is co-sponsoring three youth baseball clinics this week with the Oakland A’s for 450 inner city children from local Little Leagues and the Oakland Boys & Girls Clubs. Oakland A’s players will be on hand to give tips to the young ballplayers at each event.

DOUBLETREE HOTELS: celebrated the opening of the new San Diego Downtown hotel Thursday with a street marketing campaign. Teams dressed in cookie suits distributed chocolate chip cookies to commuters and visitors in the downtown area. As part of the event, the company unveiled a 60-by-100-foot cookie near the hotel.

ROADLOANS: is running an online sweepstakes offering a free trip for two to the Nov. 17 Ford 300 Busch Series Race and a chance to fish with NASCAR driver Tony Raines at a benefit fishing tourney. If the contest winner catches the largest fish at the Miccosukee Resort & Gaming Hot Rods & Reels Tournament to benefit the Darrel Gwynn foundation, he or she can pick from one of 250 prize envelopes, including one containing $1 million. Registration is available at through Oct. 15.
