Facebook Flies Solo With Mobile Ad Retargeting

Facebook mobile appFacebook is spreading its wings by taking its retargeting technology to mobile phones. In a blog post, the company announced its plans to bring retargeting to mobile phones, without the help of any partners. With the move, advertisers will be able to track users who visited their apps or mobile sites, and they can run ads on Facebook’s mobile app. Facebook will use its own tracking code and proprietary user data to fuel its retargeting.
