Innis Maggiore Group adds promotion to ads

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

In March, advertising and p.r. group Innis Maggiore Group announced the establishment of a sales promotion department under Scott W. Edwards, a former Doner Advertising executive. The new department will design and execute loyalty programs, full-scale retention strategies, co-promotion programs, promotional events, incentive programs, premium offers, contests, sweepstakes and other sales promotion initiatives, for both consumer and trade audiences.

“This new unit will broaden the scope of services we offer,” says Dick Maggiore, president of Innis Maggiore. “We can now provide sales promotion programs internally, in a way that integrates with the rest of our services.”

The parent company has offices in Canton and Youngstown, OH, and Pittsburgh, PA. It has quadrupled in size since 1997, with reported capitalized billings of more than $26 million in 2002. Key clients in the agency’s roster include Aultman Health Foundation, Brewster Dairy, Liquid Control Corp., Louisiana-Pacific Corp., Microsoft Corp., NancyLopezGolf, NEOUCOM, Nickles Bakery, Parker Hannifin, Progressive Foam Technologies, Rainbow Rentals, Republic Engineered Products, Smithers-Oasis Co. and Square Two Golf.
