Coldwater Creek is the latest company to reward its top shoppers with a new loyalty program that goes beyond in-store discounts.
The program, called Onecreek, is being tested in select markets, targeting the top 5% of the company’s active customers with high-end rewards and shopping experiences.
Under the program, members will offer receive discounts, exclusive savings, free shipping on returns and a gift on birthdays. In addition, dedicated customer service specialists and a personal shopper will help people with their in-store purchases.
The loyalty program will also give members sneak peeks at upcoming trends and previews of the newest arrivals.
More than 250,000 of Coldwater Creek’s top shoppers will be enrolled in the program. The company will choose members who fit the profile from its customer database. Eligible people include those who visit the store three times more frequently and spend four times more than an average customer, the company said.
The typical onecreek member household earns $93,000 compared to $83,000 for average Coldwater Creek customers.
embers spend $122 on an average transaction, compared to $92 for 12-month buyers. The group also spends more: the yearly gross per household spent at Coldwater Creek is $878 compared to $226 for other shoppers.
“The program is designed to improve retention and overall spend within this very important and profitable segment of our customer base,” said Dennis Pence, chairman and CEO, Coldwater Creek, in a statement.
Onecreek is scheduled for a full roll out in September.
