Build-A-Bear Rolls out Back-to-School Sweeps
Build-A-Bear Workshop is getting kids ready to go back to school with a sweepstakes and in-store giveaways.
Customers who visit Build-A-Bear Workshop stores in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico through Aug. 11 can enter the “Spirit Sweepstakes” for a chance to win a school visit with “High School Musical” star Corbin Bleu and a $50 store gift card. Details are also available at www.BuildABear.com.
The company is building excitement with free giveaways to people who visit Build-A-Bear Workshop stores this month. Under the “School Days Giveaways, customers will receive a free gift, including a Corbin Bleu locker poster, Build-A-Bear Workshop pencil case, notebook, or a collectible pin. A new item will be featured each week, while supplies last.
Each free item comes with a virtual gift that can be used at www.buildabearville.com, the company’s online community. Gifts include a locker for the guest’s virtual Cub Condo house, a poster of Corbin Bleu, Pom-Poms and special moves for the customer’s online character.
Build-A-Bear Workshop, which is handling the sweepstakes internally, is promoting the campaign on its Web site, with storefront signage, in its newsletter and via e-mail blasts.
