I’ve had a chance to take a peek at the 110 PRO Awards finalists’ campaigns and they are truly impressive. A creative, imaginative collection of work showing off the best creative minds in promotional marketing for some of the world’s most prestigious brands including Coca-Cola, Ford, HISTORY, AT&T, ConAgra, Clorox, Canon, Frito-Lay, Del Monte and many, many others.
I’m not a judge, I’m a bystander watching from the sidelines to see what the PRO Awards judges think of the work, which is judged on four criteria: Concept, Originality, Execution and Results. This year we had a truly distinguished roster of judges including senior-level marketers from Ford, Mastercard, Bayer Healthcare, NBC Universal, General Mills, Vera Bradley, LG Electronics, Heineken, The Art Institutes, PepsiCo, Pernod Ricard and many others. On the agency side, judges participated from Catapult, The Marketing Arm, HelloWorld, TRIS3CT, Team Detroit, Colangelo, Grow Marketing and others.
As a judge, these individuals are offered the rare opportunity to pull back the curtain on some of the most compelling promotional marketing campaigns in the world. They work hard reviewing creative images and video, write ups about stand out messaging and tactics, as well as some of the most effective means to reach client objectives through state-of-the-art marketing.
