BK ANNOUNCES MARKETING EXEC REORGANIZATION

Miami-based Burger King last week announced several new employee appointments and promotions as a part of the next phase of its marketing department reorganization.

Rick Brown has been named senior VP-marketing programs and sales, reporting to Chris Clouser, executive CP and chief global marketing officer. Brown will lead product marketing, regional field marketing for North America, promotions, merchandising, marketing communications and sponsorships. He replaces Rick Dow, senior VP-marketing programs and sales.

Glad Markunas joins BK in the newly created position of senior VP-consumer insights and strategic branding. Patty Campbell has been promoted to VP-business planning and pricing.
